1967 Mercedes Benz 250SL California Coupe. This has been one of my weekend cruisers for about a year and a half and is a great driver but nowhere near perfect. This car had been previously owned by a Dentist in New Orleans for many. many years. He represented that the mileage was original. this being a Euro market import with limited service history. I have no way of verifying the accuracy of that. I will say. the distinct lack of wear and tear on the interior suggest to me that this may be accurate. The car shows well but has an assortment of paint flaws. its been resprayed once and I would describe it as a presentable driver. I generally prefer cars like this as you can drive them without panicking about parking or other daily obstacles. This car has some typical. relatively minor rust in the rear part of the rockers. Not a big issue now but will eventually need some attention. Ive put about 1500 trouble free miles on the car including and 800 mile trek home from Louisiana. With all the Pagoda cars in a rapid price assent. this is a nice opportunity to get into a driver at a reasonable price. A local viewing is welcome and encouraged with appointment.
