Description for Chevrolet C-10 1967
I'm listing this truck for a friend. He has owned the truck for 10 years and invested a substantial amount of money in the restoration. I have sold a few vehicles on ebay in the past few years and have always had positive transactions with extremely happy buyers. I will accurately describe this truck to the best of my ability and I have included over 70 pictures as I want the purchaser to be happy. That being said, his truck is a great buy with a low starting bid. The current owner has decided to part ways with this very cool truck and he asked me to list it for him. If you are local or would like to call him to see it or talk about it, lease contact me and I will forward you his phone number. Truck is located in Tacoma, A and I have a very reasonable shipper we can use to ship this truck anywhere in the lower 48 for $500-$1000. -This truck is very straight and solid. The hard work has been done. Over $6500 invested in paintwork. The rockers were replaced. Cab corners, ockers, indshield area, enders, ed, nd doors all look rust free and solid. The only rust I could find was in some of the cab supports and a small spot on the floor which is pictured. There are two or three small bubbles in the bottom of the doors. There is a hole in the roof. Owner was planning to install a modern antennae there. There are some paint chips in the rockers. Everything is pictured below. Truck was painted in and out in a stunning Orange/Copper color that changes in the sun/shade. The core support was powder coated. Cab bushings were replaced. Bed floor is straight and bedlined. All weather stripping and glass is in excellent condition. Truck attracts a ton of attention and is a head turner. I would describe it as a 2-3 footer due to the small paint chips etc. -The engine is a 350 and was completely rebuilt by a close friend who is an experienced engine builder. It has about 2,000 miles on the build and sounds excellent. It runs strong and there are receipts for many parts. I have video of it running and driving I can text you. The truck runs and shifts excellent. Engine is new in and out. Nice serpentine belt set up. Headers, ull custom exhaust etc. Transmission is a built 350 with stall converter matched to the camshaft. Master cylinder was just replaced and truck is 4 wheel power drum brakes. It stops and steers like a 67 chevy truck. -Interior is a very nice rods interior kit. Has custom door panels, eat, ick panels, eadliner etc. The interior is high end and looks great. The door window cranks are having trouble staying on. The owner may have them fixed before truck is sold. Carpet is new. Flaming river tilt steering column and shaft. Lokar floor shifter. New gauge bezel. -Wheels and tires only have about 2,000 miles as well and were $2,000. -Most chrome trim is new. Truck is missing 1 letter off the hood and the passenger fender emblem. Owner may have them on before truck is sold. Truck is overall a nice start to a show truck that needs bits of attention to be perfect again. It looks and runs great as is, ust needs a little tlc. There are stacks and stacks of receipts which will be passed onto the new buyer. This truck easily has the potential to be a $20k truck with a few weekends worth of work.
