Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955
Up for sale is my beautiful 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2-Hardtop. The frame on restoration was performed prior to my acquisition of the car and is now 11 to 12 years old. The condition of all the metal panels on this car remain in absolutely outstanding condition; virtually no evidence of rust. The paint is also outstanding. The color, arbor Blue and Indiana Ivory, s a wonderful and slightly rare color combination. It has a new Chevy 350/270 hp crate motor with less than 3500 miles. The crate motor was purchased from an engine builder in Pennsylvania who has specialized in small block Chevrolet engines. It currently has less than 3,700 miles since the rebuild. The car comes with the original 2 speed Powerglide transmission. Upgrades include power front disk brakes. Converted from generator to alternator. Installed a new electronic distributor. A new aluminum radiator with cyclone electric fan was also added. Last but not least, brand new "Vintage Air" Condition, hich works great.
I rate this car on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest and 5 being average, solid 8. Again, or an 11 to 12 year old restoration the paint and metal panels remain in excellent condition. If there was going to be a problem with any of these panels, r the paint, t would have shown up by now. All side glass and the windshield were replaced with new, hen restored. In my opinion, here are very few 55 Bel Air cars, here the restoration is 11 to 12 years old, nd the sheet metal and paint are in this condition. They did a fantastic job.
This was a one owner car all its life, ntil it was traded to a dealership where the dealership owner had it restored. It was originally from Tennessee.
