I am selling my grand daughters truck that her other grand father left her. he done a complete redo of the truck about 11 years ago. he died about 2 years late, and the truck has only been drove a few times in local parades over the years. it has been left outside all that time.( I am sure he is rolling over in his grave) even though, he truck is still in great shape for the year and how it has been treated. i brought the truck to my houseand replacedthe gas filter, anded the points and took the carb apart and sprayed it ou, put a new battery inand cable on it . pulled it about 5 feet and popped the clutch and it started and ran great to my surprise. I bled the brakes and believe it or not it stops like a vett . the tires are about 90%, he glass is in great shape, he seat is new 11 years ago and looks great. the best I can decipher it has a 1961 235 engine that runs like a top except for a stumble in the carb at low rpm's.(the carb pump is bad).the rear bumper was new. the front bumper was in rough shape so I purchased a new one and bolts also. I also put on new chains on the tailgat, nd new door panels. the tail lights work as does the headlights and rear park lights, he front do not. the wipers work (if you have ever seen vacume wipers work) the gas gauge works as does theamp guage and speedometer it has a temp guage affixed to the bottom of the dash. the radio is all there but I cant get it to work don't know if it even has speakers. I shy away from wiring all I can. for what ever reason someone welded a steel plate in for a bed bottom, ut from under the truck you can still see the wood bed, hich is rotted ofcourse .
