PROJECT MODIFIED FINISH OUT OR RAT ROD

Description for Chevrolet C-10 1960

THIS HAS BEEN A PROJECT FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS. IT IS FAR FROM BEING FINISHED. STILL NEEDS A LOT OF BODYWORK AND FABRICATION WORK.
THE FOLLOWING HAS BEEN DONE:1) FRAME: Has a steering clip from a 1980 Chevy half ton with disc brakes.with 2 1/2 " drop spindle, with air bags,steering clip has been cleaned and painted,the frame has been sandblasted,Have hubs for truck 5 or 6 lugs. Has power steering from 1980. Have all new steering and ball joints and bushings. Have a good rebuilt Turbo 400 transmission that comes with truck. Has 12 bolt GM Posi- Track. We think 3:86 gears. Axles for 5 and 6 lugs. Started to be set up for air bags. Have new air bags, rackets and controller, ll included with truck. Back frame has been notched up. All welding has been spot welded. Gas tank from 1965 El Camino already fitted in,,.the radiator subport has been mounted 4" back to cab,so the inner finders can be used,
2). BODY: The body has the cab with a 4 inch chop.no drip rails,Front fenders have been lengthened four inches. The bed has been shortened four inches. The cab has been mounted 4 inches back. Originally, as a short bed. center of dash has been,smoothed,Have two hoods, he cat eye and newer. We were going to use the cat eye hood so it sits back 2.5 inches from the front grille. Have already put filler in that space. The bottom of the cat eye hood has had 3/4" cut off to set the front down. Most welds are spot welded. Most of the rough bodywork has been done on the cab. The doors fit good with uniform gaps all around. and two different front grills,single and double headlight,setup, ,and two hoods,cat eye and not cat eye
THE ROUGH STUFF HAS BEEN DONE BUT IT NOW NEEDS FINISHING. WE HAVE ALL THE LOOSE PARTS.
