"The 1968 Camaro was almost visually identical to the ’67, ith the exception of new front and rear side marker lights and vent-less door glass. What really made the ’68 Camaro stand out was big engines, pgraded suspension, nd special equipment features. The RS package included numerous cosmetic changes including a blacked-out grille with hidden headlights, evised parking and taillights, pgraded interior trim, nd RS badging. The SS package contained a modified 350 V8 with an available 396 producing 325hp, nd a 375hp version, long with simulated air intakes on the hood, pecial bumble bee striping, nd a blacked-out grille. It was possible to order a RS/SS."

For sale by the long time owners (since 1989) and originally a California car, his '68 Camaro RS was completed in 2012 and driven only 430 miles since. The original 327 engine is long gone and has been replaced with a period correct, ebuilt 396 and a rebuilt Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Built for the street or strip to replicate the sort of street racer you may have seen back in the late 60's, his car looks and sounds awesome. Beautiful base coat/clear coat Tangelo Orange paint make this Camaro stand out in a crowd! Although it was built to be taken to the track and has yet to be raced, t is not radical and can be driven easily on the street. What follows are the details.
