1956 Chevrolet 2dr sedan. This is a really clean Chevy that ive owned forover 16 years.It has been on the road and in this condition since 200, but always garage kept and taken care of.
a description of the car's mechanicals : 2 dr 56 chevy .rebuilt 1971 350 4 bolt main & 350 trans, bl holley HEI distributor, 0 bolt rear with 2.73 highway gears, ftermarket 605 power steering gear box, cGauvey dropped spindles with power disc brakes. new gas tan, dual exhaus, This car has been driven on many long trips with out a hiccup. everything mechanical had been either rebuilt or replaced during original restoration in 2006 along with general maintence over the years. while the car was redone, t was not a frame off. with that being said.I wouldn't hesitate to hop in it and drive across country right now. wipers have never been hooked, p(they didn't work when these cars were new!) spedo inop, ot sure.
interior : great lengths were taken to have a traditional, et timeless and stylish interior which includes 59 impala steering wheel, 3 SS impala buckets & consol, hromed window garnishe, glove box and ashtray doors. with a complete white tuck and roll. under dash tach is not included and long gone.
body: back when restored the rockers and floor panels were replaced along with headlight caps and lower front fenders, early every bit of exterior chrome has been replaced while the bumpers had been rechromed.has brand new BF Goodrich Silvertowns from Coker tires and brand new O.E. style chrome reversed wheels(both replaced in may of 2015, he exterior is pretty darn nice considering its age(completed in 2006),has one tiny bubble on each side of the top of the cow, easy area to fix and I have the paint!).looks very nice and nicer than other tri-five chevys in the same price range.... it never fails to draw a crowd weither in the walmart parking lot or at a goodguys show.to be clear, his is not a 60 or 75k car, t is priced accordingly, ompared to other cars I feel its actually more of a 35-40k car, ut I price cars to sell.
this car has rebuilt titl, ost states this is not an issue.it was never wrecked or fire or theft, n Kentucky if a vintage car had not been titled in many years("out of the system") and you then want to then register it,if a clerk who does NOT know what they are doing, hen they may issue you a rebuilt title,its stupid, ut this is the case that happened long before I purchase the car as a project back in 1999.the title has never bothered me in 16 years of owning it, nd shouldn't bother anyone else unless they are just looking to buy it and flip it...but that's just my opinon,.I have pictures I will uploador can email that show the car as purchased and along the rebuilding of the car over time to show the condition of it being a full on project when purchasedprior to the restoration.ive got nothing to hide and have no reason to lie.
