Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1956

1956 Chevrolet 210 4 door post

Owned by my father that passed away in 2009. He was an avid car lover that was a mechanic and taken pride in the automobiles he owned and loved.
This low mileage 1956 Chev has been in the family for approximately 12 years and he did lots of upgrades with it by rebuilding the 283 engine, less than 5000 miles on it) 2speed power glide automatic transmission added wonder bar radio with rear speaker, ew dash trim, ower half of front seat redone with sun visor and fender skirts along with wide whitewall tires and wired spoke hubcaps.
Indeed a nice cruiser and a real head turner it is..
Body is nice and straight with original paint with some touch up here and there and a nice tight body with no rust and the interior is mostly original other than the carpet and lower half of front seat along with the extra add ons.. It even has the tissue dispenser and I do believe it is original..
I do believe the car originally came with a 265 ci engine as the one that's in it is 283 that's been completely overhauled along with all the external components.

It also comes with a wonder bar radio and features a lot of the Bel Air trim.
This car is almost to nice to repaint and like I said it is very tight as it has roughly 78000 original miles on the body and absolutely shows it... I have no proof of it other than what my father told me and by looking at it... Its absolutely obvious.
Serious inquiries only and thank you for viewing.

Also I would like to note that the transmission leaksfluidout of the front of transmissionwhen it sits. Dad replaced the front pump seal in the transmission when the engine was out of the car and didnt start leaking until the past couple of years.. Possibly if it was driven more often it may simply seal itself? It doesn't appear to leak or throw it around when I drive it.. It just seeps out.. Really thatsthe only negative about the car as it runs and drives very nice. Thank you again for your interest and if you have any questions I will be happy to answer them for you.
