Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1967

For a lot of us, omeday is a day that'll never come. Someday we'll build a car like this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, omeday we'll have the time and money, nd someday we'll go cruising in it. Well, here's no shame in admitting that sometimes it's just smarter to buy a finished car, nd once you take a closer look at this cool coupe, ou'll realize this is just how you would have done it anyway.Sure, ou'd paint yours something flashy, specially if the bodywork was this straight, o the brilliant metallic copper finish works extremely well here. For pure intimidation, othing beats a snarling V8 rumbling under a cowl induction hood, nd with just the right stance, 'm betting you won't get many takers at the stop light grand prix. That's OK, ecause this car is almost too pretty to risk doing something foolish, ith paint that's about twenty feet deep and a mirror-like shine that will make you proud to own the car. It's got a few signs of use, ecause it's been driven but with a car like this how could you not drive it. It's nice to see that it hasn't been dressed up like a fake SS, ut rather it keeps the clean, nadorned look of a base model and adds a custom grille, ucktail spoiler, nd a minimum of distractions that would take away from the brilliant color. The black bucket interior offers just the right modifications to make it the ideal travelling partner. The seats are body-hugging buckets from ProCar and you'll note that the rear bench has been cleverly upholstered to match. Once you're behind the wheel, ou'll be pleased to find factory gauges, ncluding a tachometer, lus a trio of auxiliary gauges in a custom panel down by the console. The Muncie 4-speed is topped by a Hurst cue ball in the center of a genuine GM center console, hich has been painted to match the exterior of the car. With a manual gearbox and a snarling V8 up front, here's not much need for additional distractions, ut there's an AM/FM/iPod stereo head unit in the dash and a CD changer hidden out of sight. The trunk is about halfway finished with plenty of sound insulation and a space-saver spare, ut in need of a mat to really finish it off. It's not radical under the hood, porting a period-correct 1967-date-coded 327 cubic inch V8. Edelbrock supplied both the intake manifold and the 4-barrel carburetor, nd in true small block fashion, t loves to rev. Bright Chevy Orange paint, set of polished Mickey Thompson finned valve covers, nd a stainless steel firewall make it look dressed up, nd we particularly dig the gauges and remote starter button built into the firewall to assist in tuning. A 2.5-inch exhaust system fed by long-tube headers and muffled by stock-style mufflers gives it a distinctive sound, nd the floors are in good order with no nasty surprises. Four polished aluminum Centerline wheels wearing 195/60/14 front and 235/60/14 rear performance radials give it exactly the right look. This is an ultra-clean F-body that you can proudly drive and show anywhere. Best of all, t won't cost you five years' worth of weekends to build. Call today!
