This was the car that started a whole new era for GM. It had an all new body with V8 power. The one we have for you has Power steering. Power Disc Brakes. and Vintage AC paired with a killer look that’s sure to turn heads. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and heartbeat of the Chevy. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. When you look down the sides it’s straight with good lines. The fit of the panels are very good. Everything is covered in the two tone Tuxedo Black and White paint scheme that shows very well with a deep rich shine and is slick to the touch. The fit of the stainless is very good. The bumpers appear to have been replaced as well as other pieces of the chrome. The weather stripping also looks to have been replaced. When you look at the glass it looks like new with good seals and trim. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” Boyd Wheels with tires that look like new. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the ’55. On the inside it’s done in the black and white color scheme that complements the exterior perfectly. It has the correct bench seat with the 210 Vinyl covers. The door panels are also the 210 style. When you look at the dash it looks correct with only an upgrade to the radio. The ac vents are mounted under the dash as to not cut the stock dash away. Everything works and it has electric wipers with working dome light and horn. Finally. we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s neat and clean and powered by a small block that is mated to 350 Turbo Trans and a late model 10 Bolt Rear End. The engine is dressed with an aluminum intake and Holley carb. The pulleys are aluminum and it has a Chrome Breather with Chrome Valve Covers. It retains the stock manifolds with dual exhaust. It comes with Power Steering. Power Disc Brakes. and Vintage AC that looks good with a good fit. When you look under this 55 the floors and frame look very good.
