Description for Chevrolet Other 1947

1947 Chevy Sedan Chopped Rat Rod Hot Rod
This rat rod/ hot rod has had a lot of work done to it and is a very fun car to drive. It runs and stops like a champ. You can drive this car any where without any issues except the fact that it gets craaaapppppyy gas mileage. But lets be realistic, ho cares. lol
The top has been chopped but still has plenty of room inside. The chop was done ages ago and parts of it are cracking probably due to a little too much mud. If you ever want to repaint it you'll want to fix it at that time. This is a Rat Rod/ Hot Rod so it has tons of character as is.
This is 1947 Chevy and seems pretty solid to me but there is some rust here and there as well as some rattles. The rocker panels should be replaced whenever you get around to it... or leave it as is. They are around $300 and then you would have to weld them in place.
It has a military/survival theme to it. I made bullet valve stem caps out of ammo shells and the tach holder from shotgun shells. The floor shifter is a big bowie knife. There are also ammo shells on the blinker switch and some on the dash. The rear seat is the original rear seat with a camo blanket as a cover. The headliner is camo netting. The front seats are buckets which are very comfortable. Old School 3 spoke steering wheel with bullet-type center cap and tilt steering. You can continue on with the theme or change it up.
All headlights, azards, nd brakes lights function as they should. Blinkers work but the switch is a little funky and doesn't always turn the blinkers off.
No side windows but I do have a template to make the glass. Just need to find and fit regulators to your liking and get the glass cut and you'd be in business.
No AC so during summer time it can get a little warm but I solve that by just driving a little faster :D
But in all reality, would recommend installing a Vintage Air or Old Air Products system of your choosing.
Shaved door handles and trunk handle.
I have a box full of original old parts and what not's that go with the car. I will also supply the boxes that I kept, f you want them, or some of the parts listed below.
Some of the goodies are listed below. I'm sure there are few things I'm forgetting about on the list. Everything below has less than 800 miles on it besides the block and its internals. Most of the big repair/maintenance items have far less than 800 miles though. Feel free to ask any questions.
- Chevy 355cid (350cid bored 030)- 010 TKT block. Believe this block was originally from a 74 or 78 or 80 Chevy Truck. Currently this block came out of my chevelle with very low mileage on the freshen up. I'm not 100% sure what brand piston, ings, am, ods, rank, earings, tc are in it.
