Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1969
This Camaro I've known for 25 years and is very special. It came from Lake Tahoe, CA. and was a 3 year professional build finished about 2011. It has the personality of a "Pro Touring Build" with high dependable horsepower. Honestly, do not let the low price scare you away. I know what this car could sell for, just needs to go to a good home. Very rarely driven and only in nice weather. Originally a RS/SS Small Block 4 speed with A/C. Currently it is privately owned in Henderson, NV. (I used to live in Lake Tahoe) and has approximately 2895 miles since its completion. It is fast, reliable, stops great, corners great and is easy to drive. Nothing has been overlooked. The car was built with 100% all new parts. The Engine/Drivetrain: GM 572 crate engine, 620HP with billet aluminum front drive serpentine system, Ron Davis huge radiator with integrated shroud and dual high output electric fans, (can idle in Las Vegas 105* heat and not go over 195*), Tremec TKO600 5 speed transmission, Quick Time bellhousing, McLeod clutch, Moser Ford 9" with 3.70 gear ratio. Quality parts throughout. Custom stainless steel hardline fuel lines, stainless steel fuel tank, mechanical & electric (quiet fuel pumps), Lemons headers, crossover pipe exhaust all coated. The Suspension, Chassis/Brakes/Wheels & Tires: This car could be the catalog ad for Detroit Speed, Inc. Everything they have to offer for a 1969 Camaro it has and is powder coated, polished or professionally painted. 4 corner coil overs, front subframe with integrated sway bar, all suspension & chassis from Detroit Speed, Inc. rear section included, electric power brakes cylinder, Baer 6 piston calipers, huge 14" rotors, etc......275/35/18 front tires, 335/30/18 rear BFG G-Force tires, Billet Specialty 18" wide wheels. You could literally eat off the underside of the car. When on the lift it is one of my most favorite parts of the car. Absolutely beautiful and done correctly. Photos don't do it justice. The Interior: Stand back, driven only 3 times since the handbuilt interior was designed by the nationwide famous Ron Mangus Interiors, in So Cal. All leather and suede (won't stick to your skin), Lamborghini black carpet and more. Interior smells awesome. Started with air cooled and heated Recaro front seats (cut down), hand built center / rear console with hidden USB phone chargers and billet hidden until needed cup holders, hand built rear seat, hand built door panels front and rear with aluminum and stainless custom accents, hand built trunk area and speaker enclosure. Power windows. The top is manual but I have all of the hydraulics if someone wanted to add. The black top is the canvas type cloth high dollar upgrade with high grade clear rear plastic rear window. Kicker sound system sounds great with top up or down. I believe there are 8 speakers, 1 amp and a touch screen stereo/Sirius ready/CD/AM/FM/GPS (back up camera can be added). I have a 2" thick binder with lots of paperwork with the parts used in this build, no disappointments. There is so much to this car that I could add and I can answer any questions and send many more photos of any part of the car. Top to bottom this car is gorgeous and was a 200K ++ build plus the cost of the car. We are selling do to the lack of using the car. It can be driven from Las Vegas to New York in style with no issues! Lots I haven't included but please ask and I will respond. Thank you.
