Up for sale today and ready for immediate purchase is this ROCK SOLID UNMOLESTED AND ALL ORIGINAL 1958 Chevrolet Nomad. Other then a few finger prints we have left it how we found it covered in the barn dust. 1958 Chevrolet Nomad 348/285hp turbo-glide RUNNING NO noise NO smoke. All factory. All doors/hood/trunk open and shut like there NEW. This is a California car purchased from Chase Chevrolet in Stockton. California in 58 with black plates still on it. The dry climate and duration of time it spent there have left this car in a rare condition especially for its age. Despite the mostly untouched barn dust cloak and patina is in excellent shape from a restoration standpoint. It was in dry storage for the last 7 years and part of a huge collection here in central Florida but never made it to the showroom floor. We have inspected this car thoroughly top to bottom there is NOT A RUST HOLE OR BLISTER IN IT. It has had a patch 6x6 flush welded in the rear pass floor for seat belts. The paint is peeling on drivers lower rear rocker and at lower drivers door edges. We cleaned the fuel tank. carb. and replaced points and the tires. It runs great no noise no smoke. nbsp;and it is that reason we are making this car available briefly . We purchased with the intentions of installing air ride and converting to LS EFI custom. After considering condition and rarity we are willing to give it 1 auction only and a chance for another collector to restore. These cars do not come around like this often. We have left the brakes alone for now. being that its a power car if we decide that we do not want to sell we have options. It does have a parking brake that works well for transport.
