1966 Caprice two door

Description for Chevrolet Caprice 1966

The car has only the very minor surface rust as seen in the pics. Its been in high desert nevada all its life from what I was told. I am third owner. It has some filler in the two locations shown in the pics where the cracks are. the pic in the trunk shows where somebody had pierced a hole obviously so it didn't hold water and rust. The paint is over ten years old. the car looks great from ten feet and I get thumbs up every time I drive it. The inside pics of filler spots are the opposite of the outside pics where you see the crack. The filler is very minimal and it was obviously a shallow dent. The interior is dry, faded and cracked in some spots as seen in the pics. Dash is cracked too. Headliner has a few threads coming loose also seen in the pic. The motor and trans have 35000 on rebuilt and runs beautiful. It has some chrome goodies and a one wire alternator. The mileage goes up daily because I drive this car. Motor is the original 327 that has been fully rebuilt with a mild cam, edelbrock intake and carb. headers dual exhaust with magnaflow mufflers. Trans was converted to a turbo 350 from a powerglide. It still needs the kickdown cable hooked up. The car is a factory air car but needs a compressor and mount. every thing else is intact. It has power steering and power brakes. Unfortunately its still drum all around. Wheels are 15 X 7 and the tires have about 80 percent tread remaining. The heater works great but needs a cable for defrost. The wipers work. All gauges work and The aftermaket gauges work perfectly too. The car runs strong and drives good for a classic but Im sure it will need something although previous owner had lots of suspension work done but its been a few years. Also included in the sale are a set of hotchkis air bags that go inside the rear springs to level it off and new shocks too. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the USA right now. I have shipped bike overseas so I know what it takes. Also Nevada law is owner takes the plates when they sell a car but I have a clear title in my name and will do a proper bill of sale too.
