Description for Chevrolet Corvair 1965
65 Corvair Turbo Monza 4 speed stripped and almost paint ready. This new model year body Monza with 4 wheel independent suspension is equipped with sought after 180 horsepower turbo engine. The car was stored and taken out to start since 1978 (see window sticker) and was stripped to paint with bumpers and trim inside car but never finished. It has bucket seats and I do have a Yenko tribute fiberglass rear deckled/spoilerI'll sell separately to buyer if they want for $400.Would make a a great Yenko Stinger tribute car as only 185 actual cars were made. The car starts and drives but will need attention such as new windshield, light work etc. before it will pass inspection.Send an email and I will send video of engine running and also notice 1st pic of motor as it is running.
On Jay Leno's car show he called his 66 Corvair "the most European car that GM ever built",and went on to say "I consider it one of the 10 best GM cars ever built."But what does he know. (YouTube it)The lines speak for themselves, looks fast sitting still. It's local pickup only but I will help meet with shipper within reason after full balance is paid.(Last pic is of a Yenko Stinger to show potential of a possible tribute car and in no way implies this is that car) Happy bidding, in the left lane do your thing.
