This caprice is also factory equipped with a 12-Bolt posi rearend. This car is a factory big block car with Air Conditioning. This is a numbers matching car that was recently purchased out of a collection in North Carolina. It is very rare to find a 396 in a 4-Door hardtop. This car also has power steering and power brakes. This survivor is being sold with the original Protecto Plate and was sold to Carson Hamm on 09/17/1966 out of Squire. West Virginia. Also found under the seat was the original broadcast sheet but it doesnt have much writen or typed on it. This is a very original unmolested car with the original and interior. It has had one repaint years ago and it looks good. It does appear to be a little dull in person. There are a few chips which I tried to photograph. The windows all roll up and down nicely. The interior beautiful without any rips or tears. I recently located original fabric that I had an upholstery reupholster the seat inserts preserving the original vinyl and it came out absolutely beautiful. The radio is aftermarket. The sheet metal appears to be all original and this car is very solid. No rust bubbles or rotting anywhere. The frame has surface rust that is VERY light and not scaly or heavy by any means. The floors are very solid as you can see. The trunk area is original and still smells new. The antenna is cracked but still stands up an is functional. nbsp;at least for now. The doors are very solid free of any rust or rot. The door gaps are perfect and they all shut like they should and the way they did in 66'. The rear bumper is good the front has some fading on the corners. All the stainless is in good shape. The car runs and drives pretty good. It pulls a little when braking and hesitates on full acceleration. Sometimes you get a little vibration at idle but overall it sounds strong. It certainly can be used as a daily driver if you wish and is perfect for around town jaunts. The tires are fairly new. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!!
