PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO READ THIS AD FULLY!!!!!!! **This is for a very Solid and Rare 1973 Chevy Chevelle Deluxe colonade 2 door coupe. The Deluxes were built in 73 only and are usually stripper cars(no frills). ith a 6 cyl and no a/c but this one was ordered special. It has a Factory 350 4 brl . actory dual exhaust. ith a turbo 350 trans. ower steering and power Disc brakes. nd Factory A/C that is still complete and still holding alittle of a charge(presure)and the compressor is NOT locked up. This car was bought new in this area and has been here ever since. It is a barn find. It had been sitting several years when I got it. It is still wearing its original sherwood green paint and the interior is original and still in very good shape with the original full factory rubber floor mat(no Carpet ever)It is showing 17k but I would assume it is 117K. ut there is no wear on anything(see photos). Dash has not been cut. ut the pad has a couple of minor cracks. The seats are still soft and the headliner is perfect. The doors open and close good and the strikers are still original and in good shape. All the original weatherstripping is in great shape and still soft(see photo)The body is very straight and for the most part rust free. There is some minor damage by the passenger rear wheel well but I believe this was from a blowout at one time. The paint is original to the car. Trunk is rust free as is the trunk lid. There is a little minor rust on the passenger side front floor pan and some on the drivers side rear pan. This is likely from the factory rubber mat holding moister over the years. There is NO rust on the doors. uarters. ockers or fenders. Even the hood is rust free with no kinks and the hinges are excellent. There is NO rust around the windows front or rear and NO rust on the dash or cowl area. This is a VERY solid Honest car. Nothing is hiding. hat you see is exactly what you get. Now for some of things wrong. hen the car was stored in the barn someone with a BB gun. shot out the passenger side door window and the passenger side rear quarter glass. ut the good is. I have both factory replacement pieces that will come with the car. All the other glass is excellent. I was told the car was running and driving when the car was put in the barn. ut Someone stole the distributor. he Q jet(I have a correct replacement) and the fuel pump while it was stored. I believe they stole the gas too because the gas tank smells fine and is empty. Probably a good thing. The radiator is still intact and has green antifreeze in it. The motor will try to turn over. but is tight. I have been letting it soak with PB blaster with the plugs out for the last few months. The oil is actually fairly clean considering. So keep in mind the car is NOT running and will have to be towed. It does have brakes. The trans fluid is very clean so I would assume the trans is good. This was a factory dual exhaust car(double hump crossmember) but most of the exhaust from the mufflers back is long gone but there are 2 old glass packs under the car right now. The staggered vintage 15" Keystone Klassics are in good shape. The tires hold air and have good tread but are dryrotted. Someone damaged the front bumper filler on the drivers side but I have a perfect replacement that will come with it. Actually I have both left and right pieces. These are very hard to find one year only pieces. The front and rear bumpers are very good. I bought this car to keep but things have changed and I am thinning my toys out. I was going to put a big block 454 in it. I have lots of photos but I can only post 24 to ebay. et me know if there is something else you would like to see.
