Up for auction is an original California 1955 Chevrolet One Fifty Rare 2 Door Wagon at No Reserve
Never to have been restored, all stock & complete. Built & Spent its entire life in Los Angeles with the original owners family until September 2018.
Original 235 6 cylinder 3 Speed Manual OD Column Shift
Factory two-tone combination, Sea-Mist Green with Neptune Green. Beautiful color combination, repainted once over 40 years ago (thinking the top paint original?). The interior appears to be all original Light Green vinyl with Dark Green textured vinyl.
I'm surprised how it lasted so many years without being taken apart or modified. Impossible to find them in this sort of shape, especially here in Los Angeles. Super solid original panels, floors, rockers & frame structure. Plenty of surface rust, only hole I see is on the rear driver side drip rail. Very straight with only the push dent in the passenger door. All glass is in good shape except for there ag, except rear corner has a crack running down.
Running & driving, brakes and shifts into all gears. The drive train is all stock down to the air cleaner. Its running around town on a gas can under the hood. It does come along with the factory gas tank. Spare/ jack/ tools still in place.
Bid to own cause it will be nearly impossible to find another 2 door wagon in this sort of original shape.
Either you leave it alone - drive it in the shape it is or drop a LS1 engine & leave it in this condition ?_____________________________
