1977 Chevrolet Silverado C10 This is My 1977 Chevy Silverado C10 that has had tons of work done to it over the last couple months. The truck itself was a great driver to begin with. Has some cool options for the year like the in cab hood release(only special order option for 77'),the factory tach on the dash cluster and the Silverado trim. The Truck its factory build sheet in it still when I did the restoration. Almost everything on this truck is original to the truck just restored. The guys (father and Son) who built the motor are big into racing and big into performance and handling. With that said the attention to detail on the motor build is way above average. Little history on the truck it was owned by a guy named Jason who is into racing and I believe still races to this day. Him and his father built the motor. I believe he said he wanted something fast but also very reliable. Something that you could drive to work with and have fun on the weekends with. They definitely nailed it. This is maybe the best carbureted motor I have ever had. I have owned faster and i have owned slower. The faster ones ran hot and was no fun because they always require some work. The slower ones will they are just that slower. This motor is quick,reliable,good on fuel, and SUPER RELIABLE. This is what was done to the truck:Sanded down and was painted factory Linen White in a Base coat clear coat. They used Sikkens products all the way through. Also had a spry in bed liner done after the paint. New carpet, had the seat redone, restored the door panels along with all the hardware is all original except two bolt covers, The dash was redone,Replaced the factory stereo with a deck by Retro Sound model two(looks original but has all the modern functions, all the trim was restored, and a new headliner was installed. Lowered using Mcgaughys drop spindles in the front and hangers and shackles for the rear. The drop is around a 4" in the front and 6" in the rear. Here is a listed of what has been done to engine and performance-NEW BRAKES ALL AROUND- NEW VINTIQUE WHEELS POWDER COATED 15"X10" REAR AND 15"X6" IN THE FRONT WITH COPO POVERTY CAPS.
