Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955

How easy is it to own a eyeball-grabbing hot rod? Buy this 1955 Chevrolet 210 2-door post sedan! Built a few years ago and with a long list of upgrades on its resume, it's an easy-going street machine that's clearly built to cruise. Reliable, well-sorted, and very attractive, this is the car they're talking about when they say you couldn't possibly duplicate it for the price. With a history like this one, you already know it's a... nice car. It's also vivid in bright blue, which means they had to spend a ton of time on it, making sure everything was flat and straight, that panels lined up just right, and all the other little things that go into making a show car. No short cuts, no botched workmanship, this car has already been scrutinized and found worthy, so it's ready to rock with a new owner. Sure, it's been driven a bit in the last 20 years or so, but that does nothing to diminish the quality of the work and it seems to defy the years; I mean, just look at the reflections in the quarter panels! All the chrome and trim, and yes, there's quite a bit of it, is in good condition and all of it remains in place, from the beautiful front bumper with a pair of accessory bumper guards to the 1-piece "California" rear bumper. The two-tone tweed interior has a wonderful, inviting look. Yes, it's beautifully stitched and doesn't go to any extremes to make a point, but the quality materials with a bit of age on them seem to beckon you to climb inside. For example, the front seat is original and uses a factory-style pattern, but the updated materials give it an entirely new look. The original dash sparkles with a polished billet insert running its width and a full set of trick digital gauges from Dakota Digital. A painted tilt column and custom steering wheel are the most obvious mods, but there's also A/C, an AM/FM stereo system, and a 4-speed shifter on the floor (check out the custom seat notch!). Open the trunk and you'll find a matching storage compartment that shows someone went the extra mile with this Chevy. You already know this car is a runner, and thanks to the 350 cubic inch V8 under the hood, it should continue to do so for years to come. A few dress-up parts like the Edelbrock air cleaner and chrome valve covers make it look great, but the hardware is first rate and built to drive. Upgrades include an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and intake manifold, power disc brakes with a dual reservoir master cylinder, and a big radiator with a pair of electric fans to keep things cool. It's backed by the aforementioned 4-speed manual transmission and stock rear end, so it just burbles along on the highway without taking the edge off acceleration. A rebuilt suspension, new brake and fuel lines, and a rumbling dual exhaust provide a great driving experience, and with those traditional Torque Thrust wheels and 215/65/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials, it definitely has the right look. A very handsome and nicely built 210 that is idea for cruise nights and the Long Haul Gang on next year's Power Tour, this '55 easily demonstrates how to do it right. Call today!
