Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1981
I have an 81 Camaro up for sale. car is being sold with no motor or tansmission installed. I do have a running chevy 350 that will be sold with the car but will not be installed. I will give you a run down of what is new and what needs to be done below. The car has been repainted metallic black. all rust has been fixed with minimal body filler with all patch panels butt welded and done right. The car is by no means a show car. but a presentable paint job. 2 coats of sealer epoxy primer. 2 coats filler primer. and a base clear to top it. The car was a southern car and has absolutely no frame rot and the trunk is in great shape. one of the biggest reasons i purchased the car in the first place. The car was an original 4 speed car and the previous owner put an auto in the car. I put a brand new clutch assembly in the car to bring it back to a 4 speed. The rear was just gone over and i did bearings all the way around. I have M-21 tranny out of a 67 vette with a hurst competition plus shifter that i will be willing to sell with the car for the right price. but does not come with the car for the listed price. It is a project car but was driven before i pulled the motor and sold separately. the car drove great and is pretty much ready to go once a motor is installed. The car is mechanically solid. I am selling for a fair price and would make a great father/son project car since not much is needed other than interior work. With that being said everything for the interior is there except for the headliner. seatbelts. and a few moldings. As you will see below there is easily $1000+ in new parts. These cars are starting to get hard to find in nice shape. I have a clear title in hand. If interested we will talk about the price of the transmission when you contact me. but i will be putting the transmission for sale so no guarantees it will be available. If you have any questions please feel free to call. I will answer any questions.
