1949 Chevy 3100 shortbed 5window pickupAll original previous restoration!!Great running original truck that has been through a previous restoration and we gave it a little refurbishment. The engine and trans along with all the running gear brakes etc were redone during the restoration process about 20 years ago. The truck has been well cared for since. she starts right up and runs strong. much faster than your typical 235 engine. All the lights turn signals gauges etc work as they should. The windshield wipers work. even the original am radio and speaker behind the grill work like new!! And of course it has a newer working modern radio as well. We gave the truck a complete tuneup and repainted some items under the hood. engine bay looks very clean. Truck is mechanically sounds needs nothing to be a daily driver. We redid the oak bed. sanded it down and applied 3 coats of marine grade varnish. it looks and feels great! We also sanded down to the metal and repainted the metal strips with very resistant black smooth undercoating. they will withstand some beating and will not rust. The interior is a little dated but super clean. it was a very nice job when done and it has been cared for and still looks like new. Our next step here at the shop would be to redo the entire interior in all black vinyl. we can make that happen after the sale if anyone is interested for $2000. I can send pics of some of our other new interiors so you can see our work. The paint still shines very nicely and feels soft to the touch. but the years and use have brought on many chips as seen in the pics. It can be driven as is and looks great. but it could use a paint job to bring it back to all its glory. The truck has no rust on either cab corner or on either door. There is a tiny bit on the floorboard but nothing more than a few inches. You dont find many nice all original 49' trucks like this very often. dont let this one slip away!!- excellent chrome- previously rebuilt 235 engine very fast!- 3 on the tree rebuilt tranny- freshly refurbished oak wood bed- excellent condition like new interior- all lights work including turn signals- all the gauges and speedometer work- Original working radio and speaker RARE!!- brand new bf goodrich radial white walls- aftermarket stereo system- daily driver needs nothing!Please call me with any questions. we restore these old trucks and can help you with anything!Rob 310. nineninefive. 8896 www DOT californiaclassicmotorsports DOT com
