1972 Chevrolet Nova

1972 Chevrolet Nova Street/Strip build. This is my personal car and I have owned it for 6 years now. There was a small shop working on it for me an I got word the guy was on drugs so I went and got it to bring it back home ASAP! When the Nova was running last it had a best time of 10.8 in the 1/4 mile and 6.65 in the 1/8 mile with a aluminum head 427 big block engine. Nova tracks straight and leaves hard thanks to the modifications that have been made. The Nova had been previously mini tubed and I didn't like the old tubs so I was having NEW Detroit Speed mini tubs installed but..... Welding in the new DSE tubs and frame rail bracing will need to be completed. Picture shows tub fitment only but they are not currently installed. Firewall had a few small repairs and was cleaned (should be ready for paint) the passenger side floor board will need some repair work near toe board area only as seen in picture. I am including a new AMD repair panel for this but will not need whole panel to repair. The passenger side door hinge/spring is broken but I am including a new one to repair or replace. Behind the rear wheel on the passenger side lower rear quarter panel there will need some repair work to be done. Drivers side has a place or two in about the same area. Car will not need a whole quarter panels or skins to repair this is the lower area only. Nova has scratches, dings, dents etc. and is 48 years old all GM so that is to be expected. Never had fenders, doors or quarter panels like 95% of them have.
New AMD 4'' Cowl hood ready for paint. New WELD RACING wheels SFI 15.1 spec (certified to run 8.99 in 1/4 mile) not your standard Weld wheels. New Mickey Thompson ET Street/SR Sportsman tires. Car has a nice 4 point cage installed with Competition Engineering sub frame connectors and CE Slide-a-link traction bars. The GM 10.5" rearend has been narrowed and currently houses a spool. Mono leaf springs have been moved in to allow wider wheels. Stock gas tank was narrowed and had a sump installed. GM big block motor mounts and a GM big block heater core, both hard to find pieces! Nova retains all original Guide lighting including the "RARE" 72' one year only T3 headlights!
Buyer will need to re-install gauge cluster, column, pedals, wiring harness, brake lines, gas lines and your choice of engine/transmission. I have all parts except brake/fuel lines and your choice of engine/transmission. All interior is in car except rear panels and in good condition. (Will need carpet kit.) Dash pad has cracks but is GM original. Would make a great street car with lots of work already done and some really nice parts installed there's tons of potential.
