This authentic 1978 Corvette Indy Pace Car has just been thru a very comprehensive service after being parked for the last dozen years. A completely original unmodified car with just 29. 15 miles from new. this Pace Car has never been damaged in any way and has always had good dry storage over its 36 year life. Mostly original paint except for some touch up that was done long ago as told to us by the previous owner and the Indy Pace Car door decal set is not installed but is complete and included with the car. All original interior is very nice and in the condition you would expect of a low mile car. The very light color carpet is showing some fading we suspect due to age but no wear or damage whatsoever. Leather seating and door panels are near mint. leather is still soft and shows no wear. The absolute original L48 350 cubic inch motor runs perfectly and all mechanical s are in excellent condition. Brakes were just serviced and 4 brand new correct to original equipment Goodyear GT Radial 255/60-R15 tires were just mounted and balanced. The look of the underside of this Corvette supports the known fact of never any use in inclement weather or poor storage. A short drive also demonstrates the smooth and quiet feel that only comes with a low mile. well cared for car. All gauges. lamps. accessories. heating and air conditioning systems operate properly and car has no leaks of any kind. As 1978 Corvette Pace Cars approach 40 years of age. it is becoming increasingly difficult to find good unmolested examples of these very unique cars. This car is in a condition ready to be enjoyed just as it is. not in need of any service or repairs to make it a safe and reliable cruiser that attract attention everywhere it goes.
