Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1968
Warm weather is coming! For sale is a 1968 Corvette t-tops with NOM 350/300hp. I bought this car last April as a running. driving project. The car is pretty solid with a bunch of little things it needs here and there. I have started back in school full time while working full time as well. so I have absolutely no time to spend on the car anymore. I have only put about 100 miles on it since i bought it. which is very sad for me. The flaws I have found and work done is explained to the best of my ability. However due to the lack of attention I have been able to give the car. other undiscovered issues may exist. The paint is about 15 years old and shows some spider webbing in some areas and a few chips here and there. Great 15 footer in a great color which really pops in the sun! What i have done so far is replace all the vacuum lines (the headlights didn't work when i bought it) and headlight actuators. headlights now work. The wiper door does not work. probably needs a new actuator but I never got around to testing that theory. The emergency brake does not engage. The previous owner told me the engine was rebuilt roughly 1000 miles ago. but it will need a carb adjustment as I believe it runs a bit rich. Interior is nice. the seats and carpet were replaced by the last owner. I put in all new weatherstripping. the radio is out but it comes with the car. like i said. it needs a bunch of small things here and there. The doors are from a 69' but the original doors come with the car. It has power steering. The car had air conditioning. but the compressor was removed during the engine rebuild and not reinstalled. although I do have it and it comes with the car. Long story short. this is a great candidate for something to tinker with. but can still be driven in the mean time.
