Description for Chevrolet Corvair 1966
So first of all if you have any questions please call Bob @ 206-375-5241. This is a 1966 Monza Convertible in very good condition. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and is a truck block with 140 heads. It is a PowerGlide and drives wonderfully. We have owned 7 Corvairs and this is the best running engine we've ever owned. IT HAS NOT LEAKED OIL IN THE 3000 miles+ we have owned it. It has....electronic fuel pump 14" Keystone classic wheels new front suspension new shocks all around new luggage rack NOS headlight bezels ( originals go with car ) new rear cove trim ( not fully installed ) new front seat belts ( originals go with car ) and new white convertible top boot ( red also goes with car ). All glass is in great shape. The trunk well area has been replaced and totally redone ( looks outstanding ).The reason for selling is that we just purchased a Rampside and matching Teardrop trailer....we don't have room for all the vehicles.$500 due at successfully auction conclusion and payment in full by cash or bank wire transfer within 7 days. The car is sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied buyer is responsible for pick-up or transport and the car is subject to prior sale locally at anytime. Thanks buy it and have fun!On May-10-15 at 12:33:19 PDT seller added the following information:I have added two photos of the engine compartment to show that there are 4 carb ports with 2 currently blocked off. The PO did that apparently for economy. This is a 140 engine...Any other questions please call. Thanks
This also has the oil stick located on the back right of the engine rather than on top.
