Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1975
*CLEAN TITLE* 1975 Camaro SPORT COUPE with a 5.7 liter GM 350 (L98) and Saginaw three speed transmission. This Camaro was originally a six cylinder car and three speed. The six cylinder wasdiscarded in 2001 in favor of a rebuilt (same year) 1987 L98 GM 350 from 1987 Pontiac Firebird. This is the 225-250HP hydraulic roller camshaft motor (V0324SNB + 2HL2236220 - V=FLINT Engine Plant 0324 = MARCH 24 SNB = 1987 350 L98. The "2H" in the second set of number identify it as Firebird . There is about 38000 miles on the engine. The three speed in the car was rebuilt in 2004 and has about 25000 miles on it. The car was painted in 2009 Dodge Viper Red by a friend of mine. The front windshield was replaced around the same time. This Camaro had been sitting since 2010 and needed a few things to get it back to road worthiness. It has new battery new tires with about 50 miles on them new front brakes and a flow master exhaust. All of the oils have been changed and entireunder chassis lubricated. All gauges work to my knowledge but the bulbs will need to be replaced. It has some pin hole rust spots in the lowerrear quarter panels. The rusted passenger side floorboard was fixed and replaced. It will eventually need newupholstery since the sun weathered it from sitting. The dash is cracked and is bad and will need replaced and so is the headliner. The trans drips a little oil from the rear seal and inspection cover and makes a little noise at low idle (like the transmission cover is rubbing). The transmission shifts good and the clutch too. It may just be rust from sitting so long. I love this car its fun to drive drives straight down the road but will need basic TLC. This would make a GREAT and VERY EASY restoration projectfor a father/son or someone that wanted to put alittle time and money into it. These cars are becoming harder to find. I will need a $500.00 deposit upon winning bid and the remaining balance upon pickup/delivery. If pickup/delivery extends past seven days of sale I will need paid in full onthe fifth day. I will also work with the winner to ship (at winner's expense) up to 14 days after payment made. If you have any questions please ask. This car is not perfect and has not been restored. On Jun-07-15 at 16:14:46 PDT seller added the following information:Noise notedabove is coming from a loosespeedometer cable.
