For sale by owner. 1973 Chrysler Town & Country station wagon
This is a wonderful car. I just love this one. Everywhere we go, t's everyone's favourite. It brings a smile to so many faces. I've seldom seen a car that so many people enjoy seeing quite as much.
We have decided to re-structure our little automobile collection. As such, e are selling off some of our cars. This fabulousTown & Country wagon is just a sweetheart of aclassic car. It's just got such nice lines, nd it's in absolutely remarkable condition. Unless you look at the odometer, ou'd be hard-pressed to believe it has 99,868 miles.I wouldn't guess 1/3 of that. There's not a squeak, attle, himmy, ibration.... nothing. It runs SO nice, nd drives SO well. It's just smooooth. Such ancool car!
What else can I say about this gem(?) Here's a bit about it's history... It was purchased new by a fellow that worked for the railroad. He and his wife took their family for summer vacation road trips across America in this car. The car was never driven in the winter, nd garage parked always. In about 1980, e retired the car to the garage, nd that's where it stayed. Interestingly enough, ven though it was no longer being used, he old fellow renewed the registration and tags every single year. It was started regularly, nd had it's fluids circulated around the block.
The condition of this car is absolutely remarkable. It is a survivor in every sense. The exterior is just outstanding. The interior isas-new. I haven't shampooed the engine compartment, r undercarriage. The chrome has not been polished, nd the paint has not been buffed. As tempting as it's been, haven't even washed the garage dust off the car. I just love the "found" state that it is in, nd have tried to keep it's integrity intact. My plan was to eventually get some vintage appearing Cragar or Appliance 5-star wheels for it, long with getting a great sounding/looking dual exhaust system installed. I just haven't been able to bring myself around to "disturbing" it. I find that, or the most part, people seem most intrigued by a really super intact vintage original.
Not sure what else to say about this one. Feel free to ask questions if you have any. Otherwise, ave a good time bidding, nd a lot of fun with it.
