Description for Chrysler Town & Country 1973
This is a very well preserved, excellent running & driving car. No rust, paint appears to be mostly original except for the sides & roof. I bought this from a friend of mine who's father owned it before passing away. I've only had it about 18 months. I planned on keeping it, but I have too many cars and this one's gotta go.Since I've owned it I've replaced the following; new tires, new battery, rebuilt trans, new u-joints, master cylinder, brake hoses, serviced the AC system, the rear AC unit also works. It's also got new plug wires, cap, rotor, and an N.O.S. rear window motor.
The following parts were replaced before I got it, but look very new. Rear brake shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, re-cored 4 row radiator, belts, hoses, and the carb was professionally rebuilt. The automatic choke works perfectly. AC blows cold.
The interior is in great shape, no rips or tears in the seats or headliner, and the dash is not cracked. All the power windows work as they should, and the power back window works as well. There is some fading on some of the plastic parts in the back, but not bad. All the door panels are in great shape.
This car runs & drives excellent. It goes down the road fine, the rebuilt trans shifts as it should. I drive it regularly, so the miles will go up, but not drastically. Originally it had woodgrain and fender skirts, the woodgrain was in bad shape though, so I stripped it off & did the metalflake. The roof is also done in metalflake rootbeer. The fender skirts will be included with car. If metalflake isn't your thing, I got a rough quote of 5-600 dollars from a local reputable vinyl shop to do a woodgrain overlay on the sides. The reserve is low, so bid to win.
