Description for Datsun Z-Series 1975
Here is your chance to own a fully customized 280z that was built in a custom rod shop in Arizona named Mods for Rods. You can go to the website to see the full build of the car. Go to Mods for Rods website.Full wide fiberglass body kit that gives you the option to put 18x12 rims underneath it but for now it has 18x9.5 with 265/35/ZR 18 Nittos tires all the way around.
Has full billet suspension front and back from Arizona Z car.
Adjustable coil over shocks.
Adjustable shock tower plates.
Now it has a LS2 with the T-56 tranny from a 2006 GTO with 56,XXX miles on it and on the dyno it produced 370 RWHP and 370 torque.
I moved the motor back as close to the firewall as I could to even out the weight from front to back with a customized welded-in motor bracket from frame rail to frame rail.
Also has upgraded rear end to the 280zx turbo-R200 posi.
Electric windows, lectric locks with remote, ush button start, ll Pro-Comp ultralites by Auto-Meter.
Has vintage air underneath the dash, he heater is not hooked up.
Full custom stereo.
Full Ostrich leather everything even the roll bar cover.
The paint job is 12 years old +/- still looks good but there is a couple flaws or repairs that someone has tried to fix, ou can see it up close but it looks good but not perfect.
The guy that built the car, andy J. said they built the car as a show car for their business to show off what their shop can do and I purchased it as a rolling shell so no motor and tranny. He also said there is 14 different colors of candy paint for the flames so in the sunlight they really pop.
At the car shows everyone wants to know what it is, hey think it's either a Porche or a modified Corvette and love the paint job.
This is the first time it is being listed for sale so I am probably forgetting a lot so if you have any questions message me.
Really need to see it in person to really appreciate the car and all the work and details that have gone into it.
Will accept cashier's check or cash and pick-up only or we can try to arrange delivery or work with your shipper.
