1978 Dodge Dreamer: Fiberglass van conversion not being experts, s there were about 100 of these made 35+ yrs ago, t is our understanding that these were made to order meaning that there weredifferentwindow/door options avail.This one has half windows on each side with the smaller back window.
This issimilarto the 1979 shown onCountingCars season 2 episode 5
As stated in the video: restoration means to refer to the paint work that has been done as well as some mechanical: ie brakes. originally anappliance white, t is now a cream color.
This vehicle has a SINGLE exhaust not a duel as stated in the video, orry about that.
We are using the word "project" as this vehicle is over 35 yrs old and will need work.some but not all things that should be addressed:Needs muffler replaced and a tail pipeA/C appears working howeverdoesn'tblow cold - needs a charge, ppears it can use R134aDash temp gauge doesn't work (when you turn the truck on indicator goes to top, nd looks like it is over-heating but it is not) The temp & oil gauge to the right of the dash does work.All wiring needs attention: best we can tell almost all electrical items are working, owever the wiring is aspaghettimess.Power windows and locks: workRadio: does work front speakers onlyCassette player worksDvd player will load dvd and appears to be playing but we were not able to get the overhead screen to display although it did power up.Trailer hitch5-wheel set-up possibleTires appear in great shape but not sure of the age.
