Description for Dodge Power Wagon 1964
This truck is a good overall solid condition. Braden MU2 Winch and PTO equipped. 251 Cubic Inch Flathead 6 equipped WM300 Power Wagon for restoration. Serial Number 2461381709. I HAVE A GOOD FLORIDA TITLE FOR THIS WM300 IN MY NAME. Many ADDITIONAL PHOTOS of this WM300 can be found at https://plus. google. com/photos/103374102440615753051/albums/5570848929191668289?banner=pwa&sort=1 PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE PHOTOS THERE ARE TWO COMPLETE BRADEN MU2 WINCHES AND BUMPER ASSEMBLIES IN THE WINCH PHOTOS. ONLY THE ONE WINCH AND BUMPER SET THAT CAME WITH THIS 1964 WM300 WILL BE INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION SALE. THE OTHER WINCH CAN BE PURCHASED SEPERATELY IF SO DESIRED. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WM300 LATE MODEL REAR FENDERS IN THE PHOTOS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION SALE. BUT CAN BE PURCHASED SEPERATELY. This is a late model 1964 WM300 with the more desirable factory Dodge improvements that were on these trucks domestically from 1961 through 1968. These improvements include the larger displacement original 251 cubic inch FH6 engine in the truck as opposed to the 230 cubic inch engine. Also included is a good cleaned up (painted red) 251 cubic inch FH6 engine that I bought from a PW collector in WV. Dave H. I was told by Dave that the red engine was a good running engine removed from a WM300 in order to install a Mopar V8. I know Dave and took his word that the RED engine runs well. This was the engine I was planning to install in this WM300. Dave had done all the clean up of the red 251. It has been stored under cover in my garage since I have had it. and has Marvel Mystery Oil in all of the cylinders to keep it free. These post 1960 WM300’s are the more desirable Power Wagons. as they came from the factory with synchromesh 4 speed transmissions. 12 volt electrical systems and a hydraulic brake booster. all of which this WM300 has. Again. this truck includes its one original Braden MU2 Winch (which does turn over by hand) and the PTO and winch drive shaft. This WM300 has the optional extra heavy duty rear spring packs with extra leaf springs. Also included is the original seat and a set of NOS 251 Cubic Inch Pistons and Rings. Included is a 5th wheel for a spare tire. Included is an extra hood (Black) in very solid. strait condition. with a good center hinge and latches. This WM300 has a good solid strait cab. roof. and doors that close well. The frame is in good condition overall. but might need a little repair near the center cross member to be perfect. Be sure to look well at the many additional photos at the web link to see the condition of the frame and everything else. I do not know the internal condition of the 251 engine that is in the WM300. but it is complete with the carburetor. but minus the water pump. I do have a correct water pump for the WM300 which is included in this auction. Included with this WM300 is most everything but the gas tank. and the pickup bed. rear fenders and associated hardware. Exact duplicate beds are being manufactured new by Matt in Kentucky. See http://www. dodgepowerwagon. com/classifieds/tisdale-0410-13-3rdbeds. php for Matts beds. You can also set this truck up for a stake body. but I also have a 1960’s era Bell Telephone truck tool compartment body that is very solid with all the special cabinets and drawers that can be purchased seperately. This would look well on the back of the WM300 and would be very different and classy. Photos of this Bell Telephone Body are available if you are interested. This WM300 will need restoration. but is a good solid vehicle overall. at a fair price. They always get lots of attention when on the road. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE PHOTOS THERE ARE TWO COMPLETE BRADEN MU2 WINCH AND BUMPER ASSEMBLIES IN THE WINCH PHOTOS. ONLY THE ONE WINCH AND BUMPERS THAT CAME WITH THIS 1964 WM300 WILL BE INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION SALE. THE OTHER WINCH CAN BE PURCHASED SEPERATELY IF SO DESIRED. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WM300 LATE MODEL REAR FENDERS IN THE PHOTOS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION SALE. BUT CAN BE PURCHASED SEPERATELY. If you have any questions. please contact me via Ebay messaging or call me. Bob. at 850-624-6319. I encourage you to come see this WM300 in person if you wish. Location is NW Florida panhandle. Vehicle was purchased in Alabama. I reserve the right end this auction early or to sell this vehicle outside of this auction. Selling within the USA only. Down payment of $ 200. 00 within 7 days of auction ending. Balance due upon pick up of the vehicle by the 30th day of auction end. at which time the title will be released.
