The Topolino was one of the smallest cars in the world at the time of its production. Launched in 1937, hree models were produced until 1955, ll with only minor mechanical and cosmetic changes. It was equipped with a 569 cc four-cylinder, ide-valve, ater-cooled engine mounted in front of the front axle, later an overhead valve motor) and so was a full-scale car rather than a cyclecar. The radiator was located behind the engine which made possible a lowered aerodynamic nose profile at a time when competitors had a flat, early vertical grill. The shape of the car’s front allowed exceptional forward visibility. It is drop dead cute.

Three models were produced: model A, and C. A and B shared the same body, nly the engine of model B had 16 hp, s. 13 hp of Model A. Dimensions are very compact at 127” long and only 50” wide. That makes the Topolino and ideal display unit to set a classic Italian mood without taking up too much space.

This car is a VERY rare Model B Cabriolet which was only produced one year from 1948 to 1949. As rare as a Topolino B is, his one is also in original condition with genuine patina. The paint, nterior and engine on this car are all original – it is in FANTASTIC shape!

Looks good, tarts easily, uns great, o issues, o problems, xceptionally nice for an original car of this vintage - over 65 years young. Mechanically simple and easy to maintain. Parts are readily available as over 500,000 Topolinos were sold in Europe — perhaps only a few hundred remain in service.

A remarkable trip to Italy lies in every ride, harming and sensible motoring with a pure sense of fun in motion. Top speed is around 55 mph and gas mileage is close to 40 mpg. Handling and braking ability are modest, ut suited to urban duty or casual country driving lanes. There is comfortable seating for 2 and a useful jump seat in the back. The folding top opens a dimension of adventure to every ride.
