Own a Piece ofHot Rodhistory. This is Clem TeBow's last personally built hotrod. Clem Tebow was the T in world famous C & T strokers out of N. Hollywood Ca, nd roadmaster car club. FromBonnevillesalt flats to indy car racing and everything in between. Thedynamicduo thatperfected thecovetedARDUN over head conversion.Taken out of the current Hotrodmagazine July 2015 write up on Clems histroy. Mostly known for being the "T"in C-T Automotive (with partner Don Clark, he "C" ), lement TeBow left a big, reasy footprint right in the middle of hot rodding's history book, espite his quest for anonymity. Self-deprecating, ut warm and witty by all accounts, lem TeBow made big things happen behind the scenes.
The hands that crafted a thousand high-speed grins didn't know they were building a legacy. They were just repeating the same motions they had been making for 80 years. But when TeBow and his skilled hands shifted into the afterlife in 2003, grand legacy was left behind. Besides the heritage of speed, vast collection of personal mementos remained in TeBow's bedroom, nd a nice '36 Ford coupe was parked in his garage. Neither has been seen much, ntil now.
The C-T partnership was unofficially established in 1950, nd by '51, eBow and Clark were making noise and headlines with what Bonneville Racing News declared to be "The first successful Ardun-Ford Bonneville engine."Their 239-inch, 03hp flathead, aturally aspirated and fortified with reworked Adams-Moller heads and a welded C-T stroker crank, as the first to fully realize the potential of Arkus Duntov's hemispherical vision. It left a 152.02-mph mark in SCTA's C/Roadster-class record book at El Mirage. That performance turned out to be merely the opening act of an epic tour through the evolution of motorsport. C-T followed it up with back-to-back CRA Champ car championships in 1952 and '53, ith Don O'Riley and Chuck Hulse taking respective turns at the wheel.Google Clem TeBow for more History
As for the 1936 Ford coupeThe 36 has been storied away just how Clem left her in his garage. The 41 flathead built by Clems own hands. Weiand heads. The reproduction Strombergs replaced his original 97s at some point, ut Clem's Edelbrock manifold remains. Cast-iron Fenton headers complete the speed parts shopping list for this internally stock flathead. The '39 trans employs a Zephyr Second gear, nd a stock '40 banjo brings up the rear. GM alternator and electric fan reinforce TeBow's make-it-drivable ethos. His plan worked perfectly, ith dead nuts reliability ensuring confident motoring. A crack of the throttle produces instant G-forces and grins. Understated, ut still a hot rod engine. Taken from Hotrod mag...

All Henry Steel, have pictures of Clem building and putting the car together. All glass is in the car and working like she should.Rear window rolls down and front window hinges forward. A few bumps and scrapes but nothing that stands out. Preserved patina with no rust anywhere. The chassis is super clean, ou could eat off it. The brake system is Just as clean. Just had the rear Axle seals replaced. Most notable inside is the chroming of the dash and garnish moldings and fresh upholstery. TeBow otherwise left Henry's 1936 product untouched.
