A Jeff's Bronco Graveyard 3 1/2" suspension lift was installed. The front and rear axles were freshened up and disc brakes installed up front and new drum brakes were installed in the rear. Warn Premium hubs were installed in the front axle. The bronco sits on a set of 15x10 Procomp wheels and 35x12.5 15 BFG Mud Terrain K02's with a matching spare. While the body was off the frame almost all body panels were replaced. It received new floor boards from the firewall to the tailgate, ew upper and lower 1/4 panels on the driver side, ew upper 1/4 panel on the passenger side, ew Dynacorn cowl panel, ew front fenders, ew grill, ew fiberglass ram air hood. A new stainless steel windshield frame from Tom's Bronco Parts was installed and fitted with a dual electric wiper set up from Wild Horses. The interior of the vehicle and the engine compartment was prepped and sprayed with Raptor Liner. Before the body was set onto the frame the freshly rebuild engine and transmission were installed. The motor is a 5.8L (351) V8 sourced from a 1996 F250. The block was cleaned and cut for .030 pistons. This is roller cam motor and the stock camshaft was reused. The cylinder heads are Ford GT40 that were completely overhauled and drilled for the larger cylinder head bolts. The upper and lower intake is the Ford GT40 lightening intake. An RJM fuel injector harness was used for a factory look reliability. An MSD ignition system was installed. The front of the motor received the Ford Explorer serpentine belt system. A 4G alternator was installed to keep up with all the new electronics. A cold are intake from BC Broncos was installed. This intake pulls air from outside the vehicle through the hood. The fuel injectors were rebuild with new screens and orings. A new fuel line kit and 23 gallon fuel tank was installed from BC Broncos. The fuel tank has an internal high press fuel pump. A Champion aluminum radiator was installed. Stainless steel headers and 2 into 1 exhaust from BC Broncos was installed. At that time the body was sanded, rimed and painted with PPG Bahama Blue, he factory color for this vehicle. ABCo Rock Assault rock skis were installed for looks and protection. James Duff rear 1/4 panel guards were installed with stainless bolts. Front and rear bumpers from Logan's Metal works was installed. The front bumper received a Warn 8274 high speed winch. Synthetic rope was installed in the new winch. The rear bumper received a custom made swing out rear tire carrier. The interior received dynamat from the cowl to the tailgate. The gauge cluster was rebuild and the odometer was reset to zero. A pair of Autometer fuel and engine temp gauges were installed. A family roll cage was installed from Extreme Custom Fab. The roll cage has frame tie-ins installed for extra safety. Attached to the cage are 3 point harnesses From Wild Horses for all four occupants. A heavy duty locking center console was installed and houses a Bearcat CB radio. A Clarion am/fm/MP3 radio was installed with Rockford Fosgate speakers and a 300 watt amp. A Rampage soft top was installed for rainy or chilly days. The front suspension has a one ton tie rod kit from Extreme Custom Fab. A 4x4x2 steering box was professionally overhauled and new seals were installed. Aeroquip stainless high pressure hoses were made and installed for the steering system and brake system. For stopping those big tires a hydro Boost brake system was installed. A hydraulic clutch master cylinder was installed for the ZF trans. A wrap trap from Wild Horses was installed to the rear end to keep the tires on the pavement. This bronco was build to be a driver and that is what it is. There are some small nicks and scratches here and from normal driving. I recently took the bronco on a 1000 mile road trip and it performed perfectly. With the fuel injected motor I got between 17 and 19 MPG cruising between 55-60 MPH. The Bahama blue paint really shines and this bronco is a real head turner.
