Description for Ford Other 1949
1949 Ford Custom ConvertibleThis car has been in the family for the last 25 years, rom what I can see it had a light restoration probably in the 80's, ar is nice and complete, uns and drives exactly as it should, t is not perfect and has its paint chips and nicks here and there, /em>there issome smallamounts of surface rust where the undercoating has dried and flaked awaybut not a rust bucket by any means, car has been in a climate controlled garage since 1990 and originally came out of Pennsylvania.
This car is not used often but is brought out for a couple of local shows and parades throughout the year and runs without any issues.
The Electric top motor was replaced a few years back but seems to work intermittently for whatever reason, t is an original 6 Volt electrical system as well.
The mileage on the car is accurate to the best of my knowledge, nd I have no reason to believe that it is not actual.
I listed the car a couple of weeks back and was forced to take it down because I had the incorrect transferable registration, have now confirmed that I had the proper registration and the vehicle will sell.
Reserve has been lowered and this car will sell in this auction.
I will add a picture with the top up this evening, f any other pictures are required, lease do not hesitate to email or call me.
Call with any questions 516-790-1150 Chris.

TOP Pictures added!
There is a small issue with one of the cross sections of the top and I have posted pictures of it, his piece is replaceable and not actually part of the main top. This piece is stapled on and is a decorative piece that can be replaced without removal of the top.
Sorry that I didn't post the issue with the top in my earlier post but I was unaware at the time.
