Description for Ford Model T 1912
Documented original car with all original lights and drive-train!Believed to have less than 3k original milesStored for 70 years inMissouri by the family of the second ownerI purchased this car in January with the restoration almost complete. In July we shipped the car to the Last Chance Garage in Pa. to be finished and tuned. Lou and Fred did a great job! She starts on the first crank almost every time and once in a while she'll fire after priming just by turning the battery switch on. That's a hoot because no one expects it to start from the driver's seat!
This car is really an amazing piece.
Restored from a very original car. According to the owner's daughter who owned and stored the car for 70+ years, t had just 3,168 miles on it when parked in 1941. Her father left for war and unfortunately did not return.
Built in July of 1912 and originally delivered with the rare "Fore Door"option and Brown brass lights. The original leather material was used to make patterns for the interior you see here. Photos are included of the original upholstery.
The Motor and transmission were rebuilt professionally by Dave Szumowski in the Chicago area. The car was first started and driven under its own power on July 23rd, 015under the careful eye and care of The Last Chance Garage in Pa.
Correct original brass carburetor comes with the car. Holley carb serves the car more reliably. Still has the correct 12 rivet rear end as well.
