Description for Ford Other 1933
Wow! That is all you can say about a car like this. It has the look that lets you know it is just something special. This factory five roadster has the appearance that wins shows and the performance that wins races. It is practically a race car in disguise. This car is #187 and has been a feature car in Street Rodder magazine and Hot Rod magazine. If getting its own spread in the most popular classic car magazines doesn't impress you then maybe the fact that it was selected to be a Dupont "Hot Hues" calendar car and a Streetrod Nationals booth car will. Still not enough? Well this car was seen by millions from the comfort of their couch on Two Guys Garage and Powerblock TV on Spike. On top of that it has won countless awards including the Best Engineered Hot Rod at the California Hot Rod Reunion and the Top Hot Rod at SEMA in 2010.
The car was constructed 325 miles ago by professional builders at the Hack Shack, ll of the miles have been babied, ever raced. The tubular frame was all CAD designed for this vehicle. The chassis has been fitted with adjustable Koni coilovers, ubular A-arms and a 8.8" Ford rear end. The chassis in addition to the body are 3" wider than the originals which increases the space of the interior. If you have owned these cars in the past you know they can be cramped, hat is not a problem in this classic. The 1933 Ford Factory Five Coupster body is topped in a DuPont Hot Hues custom mix that looks awesome. The darker Red and White contrast each other really well and make the hand sprayed flames really stand out. Over 300 hours have been put into the paint and body alone. One of the coolest things about this classic is how it transforms. The removable coupe top removes with no problem making the car a roadster in minutes. When attached the top truly looks like it is part of the car. This isn't a roadster with a top to make it look like a coupe. Its a coupe with the top customized to make it a roadster. It is like having two different cars in one! The car has large chrome circle headlights up front with frenched LED taillights in rear. The long sloping front grill has a beautiful shine and gives it a killer looking front end. Another awesome feature is the side exhaust which is custom routed into the body! The car has a great sound and both pipes exit just in front of the rear wheels. The car has been set up with the perfect rake and rides on custom Intro polished wheels (18x9 and 19x10) wrapped with BF Goodrich G-Force tires (F-255/35x18, -285/35x19.)
The drivetrain on the car is just as well constructed as the rest with a new 4.6 Ford Mustang GT motor that runs extremely well. The 24 valve motor cranks out 400hp and is fitted with a race ready Tremec 5 speed manual transmission. It has disc brakes on all 4 corners and stops with ease. This classic truly handles like the racecar and is ready for local shows, ruising around town, r running on the autocross track. Check out the following table to get some performance specs!
The interior of the car is done in Black with two bucket seats nicely mounted in place. The seats allow a great amount of leg room considering it is a 1933 Ford and utilize four point Simpson racing harnesses. The dash is painted to match the car and is topped with white faced Autometer gauges. The Factory 5 logo is custom embroidered into the floor mats and is part of the horn button on the billet steering wheel.
This is a one of a kind car that will continue to be one of the nicest out there. This isn't the type of classic that will go out of style. It will only go up in value as it becomes more and more unique as time goes on.
