This truck was purchased new in OK CITY OK. and taken to the Phoenix Az. suburbs before winter where it remained until I purchased it and brought it back to Tn. in 2009 or 2010.It has been my daily driver until last year when I had planned a 90% restoration that has just not happened. I have other projects going on and know I am not going to get to it, adly my interests have changed.I will always love the 80 to 86 f-series as I do own others but this one needs to go someone who will continue to run it. The good is that it is 100% rust free from the south west desert. It has had a tranny rebuild, new carb and a new a/c compressor and lines along with the usual small stuff. The bad is it needs a windshield and gasket as the glass has a crack and the gasket is bad enough for the glass to be looseand it leaks some when it rains. The tailpipe needs to be put back up to the muffler and the brake pedal is a little low from setting most of the past year. It is in need of some tires. It starts--it runs--it drives--it stops. With a minimum amount of attention I wouldn't hesitate to leave on a long trip with this truck tomorrow. I may be a little crude but this has always been a very dependable truck for me no matter how far or how fast I needed to get there. ( with in reason ) The A/CIS ICE COLD !Has a so-so Blaupunkt am/fm cd player. 300 cid 6-cyl. automatic w/od. One piece of trim on right side around the front of the rear tire is bad aswell as a couple large but repairable dents in the tailgate. Small dent in rear bumper and a tweek in the front one.Needs new wiper strips on the door windows and a good interior update. Easy resto or great daily driver.I will help with shipping or delivery if I can but will be at your expense. Ask any questions, will be as honest as I can,I only want a happy buyer.
