1984 Ford F-150 300 inline 6 cyl. automatic transmission with overdrive current odometer reading is 48477 so it doesn't show the first 100. 00 but we all know its been there ! This truck was bought new in OK CITY. OK and brought to the Phoenix Az. area before the first winter season and it remained there until I purchased it out of a warehouse in 2010. I brought it to Tennessee and after about a year and a little tinkering it became my daily driver. It has never been exposed to any road salt or de-icing chemicals----NEVER !!!!! This would be the perfect candidate for a rebuild that would last forever. That was my plan but as always. plans change. There are a couple small dings and a couple of pieces of damaged trim that will need to be taken care of as well as repairing or replacing the tailgate. Neither bumper is perfect but not bad and it does have the wrong interior sun visors---from an 88 I believe. All damage is shown in the pics----look carefully and ask questions so there wont be any surprises. The interior surely will need to be reworked as well and certainly some mechanicals too but once again-----ZERO RUST !!!! It shimeys and shakes---It rattles and rolls---It starts--It runs--It stops!!!! Has the typical engine and transmission drips---some but not excessive---does not smoke!!!! Engine fires up quick when cold with just a couple pumps of the pedal and idles very well------Transmission shifts great with no slip but may seem to want to linger in overdrive a bit longer than I prefer but a quick jab of the pedal is all it takes. This truck has been on many 500 to 1200 mile trips with no issues what so ever-----I would not hesitate to leave on a trip with it tonite! Tires are about junk--needs a windshield and seal as it is cracked and leaks. New carburetor and new a/c compressor and lines installed when I first started running it. Blows ICE COLD !!!! New plugs. wires. cap and rotor installed at that time also. Last year put in new starter and solenoid and 1 cable. I also have a new distributor to go with it that I had purchased but never installed. Has Blaupunkt am/am cd player that is so-so. it was in it when I got it. This truck could remain a very nice daily driver with a minimum of work or could be brought back to near new pretty easily as there is very little body work needed.
