Description for Ford Mustang 1970
This is a very special original matching numbers 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with the original 428 Cobra Jet engine. The restoration needs to be finished but all the important and expensive parts are already done. The engine is freshly and professionally rebuilt 0. 030 over. ( I can give detailed internal part numbers to interested parties). The body is 100 % rust free and was meticulously massaged. prepped. and painted the original Ford Bright Yellow Paint. Ford #3470-A on November 2014. The originall upholstery is still on the car but needs restoring. all the electrical system need to be redone also. I can also offer my services to professionlly finish restoring this vehicle for you. You can come down to Guatemala to inspect it and I can physically show you more than 15 vehicles that me and my business partner have restored (Austin Healey. 1966 Mustang Fastback. 1965 mustang convertible. 1956 Porsche. 1958 Mercedes Benz 190sl. 1961 Jaguar XKE. De Lorean. 1958 Cadillac. etc. The list goes on and on and we still own most of these vehicles. I had auctioned this car on ebay before about a year ago but the person that won the auction did not come through with the payment. Then I decided not to sell it until it was finished. I put a lot of work into it and the only reason I am selling it now is because I need to finish some other projects first and the money will come in handy. VERY IMPORTANT! This vehicle was special ordered for EXPORT. sold and exported to the Ford Dealership in Guatemala in 1970. The vehicle is now located in Guatemala. Central America. but can easily be shipped to the USA or worldwide. The car was used for show and promotion of ford musclecars and then was raffled off the same year. It went through several wealthy car enthusiasts in the country until eventually one of them bought it. dissasembled it for a complete restoration that sadly was never finished. The good thing is that almost all of its original parts are there. I bought the car about two years ago and started to restore it. All the body work. prep and paint is completely finished sans the black stripes its supposed to have. The sheetmetal and all body parts and panels allign perfectly. The engine was seized for lack of use so I haad to profesionally rebuild it. keeping all the original parts that I could but changing internals llike forged . 030 over pistons. bearings. etc. The crankshaft and rods are the original ones. It has its OEM intake manifold. exhaust manifold. oem holley carburetor with itd id tag. New clutch with oem transmission bellhousing. oem 4 speed close ratio transmission and oem rear differential. All the OEM window glass is there. I have not installed them yet. The original wheels and rear window louvers are missing. The hood locks and 428 badges that go on the shaker hood scoop are OEM. Original VIN tag is there. I have the Marti Report for this car. I will try to put a picture of it. The engine is not installed yet. I can give it with the engine installed. Basically the car is almost done. mostly upholstery. electrical. decals. weatherstripping is left. most of the hard to find parts are there and are OEM. I can send detailed pictures of speecific body or engine parts and stamps if you request them. Thanks for looking!
