Description for Ford Torino 1971
I have owned this Automobile for 40 years, It was 1978 when I purchased it. The car’s first 8 years before I bought it was in Texas. It has never been wrecked rusted or damaged and always stored in an insulated garage. Being the owner of an engine machine shop and not satisfied with the motor’s performance I totally rebuilt the motor to blueprint specs and installed a factory 429 SCJ Solid camshaft and components probably around 38,000 miles. The horse power increased at least 75HP or more. This is the actual mileage 40,700 and it runs and drives like new. It has all matching and original parts as Ford built it including factory serial number on block and heads. The car has a nodular rear with 31 spline axles, staggered shocks etc. This car has never been raced or abused in anyway. I took exceptional care of it always as you can see in photos. This is more than just a rare muscle car, because it’s a 4 speed with air condition and very low original miles. I have included the Marti report, owners manual and warranty facts book with the original purchaser’s signature and address. I have included a 1:18 scale model limited edition of the exact car never out of box. The car cover is also included. I have a copy of Hemmings muscle machines and on Dec 2014 #136 you will see 1970 Torino GT with 429C, 4 spee, bench seats, non traction lock sell for $72,500. I’m sure it was a nice car, but not nearly as rare or as desirable as this car. This is a fine car and I want no tire kickers please. This car is 100% American with no foreign parts. Buyer must make arrangements to pick up in a timely manner. Buyer must also deposit $500 in the 1st 48 hours after auction closes through Paypal. Remainder of the money will be cash in hand at time of delivery or bank check sent well ahead with time to clear funds. Anyone is more than welcome to come look at the car before the auction ends thanks.
