Description for Ford Mustang 1970
I took my wife and baby and went thunderingup into the hills. The car makes terrific power and I climbed up the steep incline in 3rd. The gears fall easily into place and the whole car feels rock solid. It should since itonly has 400 miles since the mechanical rebuild. This engine was 4 grand and it feels it. The pipes make araucous howl and are tucked in sweetly behind the rear valance. This thing has no power steering so unless your girlfriend is atri-athlete shewon't be driving. The interior is a little spartan but you need something to freshen up. There are some big boxes of carpetsand seat covers I believe. Theyhaven't been opened so I will double check thatand get back toyou. After racing up the hill we slowly came back down, thebrakeshave been re-done and take a strong foot. The car handles well forits size & the pipes spit back at you, the fastback still needs some more fine tuning. All the MSD goodies must have cost a mint. This is a hotrod mustang so you numbers guys can take a backseat here. The stang was a a 302 car, and apparently the engine is behind the guys house still if you want it. The passenger door takes some Fonz action ifyou've got the touch. There is some filler on the top of the trunk lid which is odd. The ignition switchdoesn't snap back into the run positionand should be fixed. The tach is cool, also not working, gas gauge working, alt gauge working, oilpressure gauge not working. Pretty much get the paint done and interior done up and that should be a wrap. Unless you also want front disc brakes, fatter rear meats and a holley 750,thats what I would do.
