For sale is a Classic, 1980 mk1 Ford fiesta Ghia. Because its the Ghia model, it has all the desirable options like a sunroof, power brakes, tachometer, and better rear hatch lock.This car model was made in Germany for the U.S. market and imported into the U.S. from 1978 to 1980. The engine was made in Great Britain, a 1.6L 75 bph "Kent".It has been lowered with after market springs and shocks along with having the front and rear bumpers shortened. It sits on 14" chrome steel rims. Body has typical rust around the headlights and shock towers, see photos. It is a 36 year old vehicle. It has a new clutch, new brake lines, brake master cylinder, brake rotors, calipers and brake pads, new distributor cap, valve stem seals, spark plug, ignition rotor, radio, the blower works just needs heat fixed, interior is in good shape except for tears in the front seat upholstery (see photos), cigarette lighter works, great gas mileage, low miles.
It needs front lower ball joints, a LT front axle, front wheel bearings, rear shocks.Car is driveable for short distances, but until the issues listed are fixed, it is difficult to steer straight. Muffler needs to be welded, and is currently temporarily attached with a wire.
Also included is the original "1980 Ford Fiesta Owner's Guide", and the original "Fiesta Car Shop Manual". The manual's front cover and first page are not attached to the rest of the book, but book is complete.
This car is reliable and the engine runs well and will last for a long time, it just needs the issues listed above fixed,and it will be a bad ass car.
