The paint job on this Ford was completed to a concours standard and looks stunning. The car was completely disassembled. hood. trunk. doors. glass. trim etc. was all removed and painted separately. Even the bottom side of the body was repainted. The chassis was also stripped down and repainted as well. The body is LASER straight and looks beautiful. The body lines and seams on this car are virtually flawless. This is the nicest body I have ever seen on a 1940 Ford. Again. this is a solid rust free car!!! The paint has a very "deep" look and has great shine and depth. When the car was painted. it was done properly. All of the rubber seals were replaced after the car was painted and are all in great condition. The exterior is really set off by the great looking deluxe wheel covers. flawless chrome bumpers. and whitewall tires. This is a car that you could bring to a high level car show and show it with pride. or you could go on great long weekend drives in. Overall the exterior is in great shape. When the seats were reupholstered all of the foam was replaced as well. The interior is beautifully detailed featuring the "wood" window surrounds that look absolutely stunning and the finish is absolutely impeccable. The interior features both a radio and a heater. The beautiful art deco dash is great to look at. They really did an amazing job designing these cars. All of the gauges are in great working order. This engine has been completely rebuilt and detailed to a showroom like finish. The engine runs beautifully. it always starts and runs excellent. The steering on this car is nice and tight and the car steers beautifully. The brakes work excellent as well. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The car steers beautifully and the car tracks perfectly down the road. The suspension has been completely gone through. The bottom side of this Coupe is as well finished as the top side.
