Description for Ford Mustang 1977
This is a great car for any Mustang II enthusiast looking for a restore project with a good start. The V8 and automatic transmission run great. Dual flow master exhaust exit at the rear wheels and sound very nice. The 14" tires and wheels are in great condition. Some surface rust. but just on the surface. so it can be sanded out. primed and painted. Some work to restore front right fender was started and that is why it is primed in black. T-tops are in good condition. There is also another set of T-tops that come with the car. but the seals on the extra set are not great. You can either reseal them or. at least. have a backup set of t-top glass in case you ever break one. The seats have no tears or rips in them. The steering wheel is pretty bad. but I am including a brand new unused Grant Cobra II steering wheel (pictured). Center console is not great. but I am including another black console that is in good condition. The carpet is missing. but there are several sites on e-bay that offer new carpet custom fit for this car. I have the additional rear spoiler corner pieces that will be included with the car. A lot of wiring under the hood and across the rear panel lights has been redone nicely. Many of the brake lines and fittings at the wheels have been replaced new. Gas tank needs a new sending unit to make the gas gauge work. but most major auto parts stores carry it. This car is licensed. currently inspected and road legal in Texas. Always gets attention since these are so rare. especially with the T-tops. I have driven it back and forth to work about 25 miles away many times. Vehicle is for sale locally and auction will be closed if it sells locally. Winning bidder must pay in cash. or certified funds must clear my bank account before the car and the title will be released. Payment is due within 7 days of auction end and car must be picked up within 7 days after funds have been received and cleared my bank account. No delivery options are offered but I will be happy to try to work with your pickup provider when you are ready to pickup the vehicle. This is not only a great project car for the "experienced" enthusiast. it is also popular with young people looking for a great starter car that runs well and just needs some TLC and time invested in it. Thanks for looking.
