Description for Ford Mustang 1970

Up for sale is my 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. I purchased this car totally apart and have been wanting to drive this rare machine for some time now. I have acquired many of the original parts to get this project underway but unfortunately I have run into financial difficulties and need to let someone else complete my dream car. I ordered a complete Marti Report which shows this car came with some of the best options available. Of course the incredible Boss 302 engine, Medium Blue exterior paint, Deluxe white interior, Close ratio 4-speed transmission, Shaker Ram Air, 3.91 Traction Lock Differential, Rear Louvers, Rear Deck Spoiler, F60X15 Goodyear Raised Letter Tires, Tilt Steering Column with Rim Blow Steering Wheel. Now for the current condition. The car was involved in a front end collision in the early 1980's (hit a fire hydrant) which damaged the front sub-frame and suspension. The car was brought to a local private shop and dismantled. The rails and core support were cut out and the shell was put on a frame rack. Due to the car being driven in the midwest, the floor and quarters had some rust issues, so it was determined to get a full restoration. The interior was removed a boxed up and new parts ordered. The owner fell ill and work stopped. The car sat untouched in the corner of this shop for 20 years. Many of the original parts walked off. I happened to stop in this shop one day asking about a car that was for sale by the roadway (not the Boss). While in the shop I noticed the rear half sticking out of boxes and debris. I was the lucky man who spotted the reflective stripe on the rear quarter panel and asked if it was a Boss Mustang. He replied yes and that he wanted to get the car out of the shop. He put me in contact with the owner. After some negotiation, I purchased the car. I had to hunt through the shop attempting to locate all the remaining parts which had been boxed and moved all over. Unfortunately, many things were missing including the original cylinder heads and intake and shaker base. I was extremely happy to find the original date code engine block, interior, fenders, hood, grille, suspension. I purchased a mint front frame section with the correct braced shock towers. My plan was to have the car back to original condition and drive what I believe to be one of the the most beautiful cars ever built. Today, I am heartbroken that I am in financially unable to keep the car. I will post many many more pictures of the car in the next couple days showing everything that I have and more detailed shots of the condition. The three pictures I posted immediately are of the body in my garage, the Marti Report and a picture of a Boss similar to mine that is restored. I have to sell this car so this is a no reserve auction. I can help with delivery for a fee. $500 deposit due within 48 hours.
