Description for Ford F-250 1972
For sale is my 1972 F250I bought it a few years back from the second owner of the vehicle. The odometer shows 88,000 and I think this is actual mileage. I am not 100% positive but I know that it was not driven very much for the last 16 or so years and did not accumulate many miles.
It has a 360 V8 and C6 automatic transmission out of a 1969 Ford F250 that I swapped in about a year ago. It originally had the 300 six cylinder and 4 speed manual transmission that does not come with this truck.
The good;
New tires and rims with less than 500 miles on themNew electrical throughout the truck. I bough a kit that restores it to original but also has the attachments to install aftermarket accessories if you want them.Brand new dual exhaust with chrome tips installed by MidasThe brakes were redone by MidasNew brake boosterHad the seat re upholstered and it looks great.The engine was rebuilt a couple of years back according to the guy that I bought it from and it does run pretty good. It will need some fine tuning.New front bumperI sandblasted the bed and rolled on a bed liner.
Body is in really good shape with just the normal dents and dings. Original paint and very little rust. There is some surface rust on the body but no rotting rust. Same for underneath the truck. This is a very solid New Mexico truck.
The bad;
When i swapped out the engine and transmission I did not replace the seal where the torque converter attached to the transmission so it leaks pretty bad and will need to be replaced. Also the tranny pan leaks.
