Unfortunately, I'm unable to proceed with the restoration of my very solid and very rare 1952 Ford F-1 panel truck. This listing offers a great opportunity to purchase and complete this restoration project yourself and, because they are not included, select the engine, transmission, rear end, wheels, seats, and details of your choice.
The body for the panel truck in this listing has already been removed from the chassis and the chassis has had the popular Volare front suspension installed onto the original frame. The panel body, fenders, hood, doors, etc. are in solid shape with great form, without damage, and only a few minor spots needing metal repair. A repair patch has been installed on the roof where a previous owner planned a sunroof. The rear doors need only two small lower panels (original replacements included) welded in. The floors are also very solid. Other missing parts include items such as the running boards, glass, gauges, minor parts, etc. They are easily found on ebay. This panel truck is in very good original condition as it has been kept under roof for many years, and now resides inside an enclosed trailer for protection from the elements. Please look closely at all of the photos. A personal inspection is recommendation.
The buyer is responsible for picking up the panel truck at the sellers location and/or responsible for arranging and paying for shipping. I will cooperate where I can with the logistics. If needed, I can deliver it at cost within a few hundred miles locally, but the buyer must unload. As an option the Wells Cargo trailer (8x20, beavertail, dual axle, elec. brakes, elec. tongue jack, elec. winch, solar panel charger, small stls. wall cab., extra lighting) is available to the buyer at an additional cost ($5500 or offer on a package purchase).
This panel truck is being sold with a "Bill of Sale" only and no title, where is and as is with no warranty expressed or implied. The VIN on the chassis (top right front) matches the VIN plat on the body (located on the inside face of the glove box). The pick up of the vehicle must be completed within two weeks after purchase and will not be released without payment in full. Arrangements can be made for holding it for a longer period of time if needed but full payment must be made as noted below. Please have your purchase funds in hand prior to bidding. Although it may state otherwise elsewhere, a $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal is due immediately upon purchase. The balance in full is due within 7 days of the date of the purchase in the form of cash, bank wire transfer from a known USA bank, or certified cashiers check from a known USA bank (requires bank clearance).
