Description for Ford F-100 1952
Unfortunately, I'm unable to proceed with the restoration of my very solid and very rare 1952 Ford F-1 panel truck. This listing offers a great opportunity to purchase and complete this restoration project yourself and, because they are not included, select the engine, transmission, rear end, seats, details and color of your choice. (Note: For comparison purposes, please see item # 332148971595, another rare 1952 Ford panel truck that just sold on ebay without its engine or transmission and sitting outside unprotected in a field. The reserve on my panel truck is much lower.).The body for the panel truck in this listing has already been removed from the chassis and the chassis has had the popular Volare front suspension clip installed. The chassis is ready for refinishing and the installation of the engine, transmission, rear end, and details of your choice. The panel body, fenders, hood, doors, etc. are in solid shape with great form, without damage, and only a few minor spots needing metal repair. A repair patch has been installed on the roof where a previous owner planned a sunroof. The rear doors need only two small lower panels (original replacements included) welded in. The floors are very solid. Other missing parts include items such as wheels, glass, gauges, seats, minor parts, etc. but these are items you probably would have chosen new anyway. Most, if not all, are easily found on ebay. This panel truck is in very good original condition as it has been kept under roof for many years, and now resides inside an enclosed trailer for protection from the elements. Please look closely at all of the photos. A personal inspection in recommended.
This panel truck is being sold with a "Bill of Sale" only and no title, where is and as is with no warranty expressed or implied. The VIN on the chassis (top right front) matches the VIN plate on the body (located on the inside face of the glove box). The buyer is responsible to pick up the panel truck at the sellers location and/or responsible for arranging for shipping and payment for same. I will assist with the logistics where I can. The pick up of the vehicle must be completed within two weeks after purchase and will not be released without payment in full. Please have your purchase funds in hand prior to bidding. Although it may state otherwise elsewhere, a $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal is due immediately upon purchase. The balance in full is due within 7 days of the date of the purchase in the form of cash, bank wire transfer from a known USA bank, or certified cashiers check from a known USA bank (requires bank clearance). Please ask all questions prior to purchase. This vehicle is for sale elsewhere and I reserve the right to close this listing early. Thanks for your interest and good luck bidding. On Mar-25-17 at 15:52:29 PDT, seller added the following information:
